Smooth Operator
Maple · Orange Bitters · Spirit-Forward
Some things just work. Good Trouble's silky, high-rye character was made for a proper Old Fashioned — maple syrup instead of sugar, a whisper of bitters, and all the time in the world.
Ingredients
Good Trouble Bourbon
2½ oz
Maple syrup
¼ oz
Orange bitters
2 dashes
Angostura bitters
1 dash
Large clear ice cube
1
Orange peel + cherry
garnish
Method
Stir bourbon, maple syrup, and both bitters in a mixing glass over ice for 30 rotations until chilled. Strain over a single large cube in a heavy rocks glass. Express an orange peel over the top, run it around the rim, and rest alongside a cherry.
